Our Mission

What We Do

Full Stop Resources empowers women and girls by eliminating barriers to health, hygiene, and opportunity. Learn more about our mission, approach, and the work we do every day.

The Challenge

Globally, 500 million people live in period poverty without access to menstrual products. In Sri Lanka alone, with a population of 23 million—52% female, 80% rural—nearly 10 million women and girls in poverty-stricken areas face monthly challenges accessing basic hygiene products and education.

This isn't just a hygiene issue—it's a health, education, and economic equity issue. Period poverty perpetuates cycles of disadvantage, shame, and lost opportunity.

Our Response

Full Stop Resources is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking cycles of period poverty through free education, product distribution, and community partnerships.

We believe that de-stigmatizing periods in rural communities will greatly impact women's health, education, and economic participation. By providing knowledge and access, we empower girls to make choices about their bodies and futures with dignity.

Our goal is simple: Every woman deserves choice, dignity, and access.

How We Work

Our Three-Pillar Approach

📚

Educate

Building Knowledge

We provide comprehensive education on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and women's wellness. Our programs are culturally sensitive, evidence-based, and designed to replace stigma with understanding and agency.

📢

Advocate

Amplifying Voices

We advocate for policy change, raise awareness, and shift cultural narratives around women's health. We partner with institutions and communities to challenge stigma and drive systemic change at all levels.

💪

Empower

Enabling Choice

We distribute modern menstrual products and essential supplies directly to women and girls, removing barriers and enabling them to participate fully in school, work, and community life.
